Iman Togane is a Somali-Canadian author who specializes In dual language learning for children. Iman recently released her first self-published English /Somali children’s books entitled “Midabada Marian (Marians Colours ) and “Dalxiis-Malmeedka Marian” (Marian’s School Trip). Amani publications believes that increasing representation in literature will foster a stronger sense of cultural identity for young Somali children while simultaneously improving language acquisition and promote reading
